My name is Patricia Alexander Howerton.  After retiring several years ago, I began making jewelry at home as a hobby and to give as gifts to my family. Soon after, I began receiving requests to purchase items. Since then I have taken up a variety of other crafts and eventually made the decision to start a small business.  

 

I love what is called Old Town Bluffton in the lowcountry of South Carolina, and live a very short distance from there. Old Town Bluffton is a mix of quirky and charming shops and restaurants surrounded by beautiful historic homes. It is situated on a high bluff overlooking the May River which adds to it's beauty.  I find Old Town Bluffton's charm somewhat whimsical, thus the name Old Town Whimsies.
